TL;DR
Master Scheduler Leader (Manufacturing): Converting supply plans into executable master production schedules for ABB’s ELSB Transformers Business Line with an accent on demand balancing, production capacity, inventory targets, and on-time delivery. Focus on maintaining SAP planning parameters, resolving MRP exceptions, supporting S&OP, and identifying capacity and delivery risks.
Location: Onsite in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico. Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered.

What you will do
- Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule using forecasts, incoming volume, production capacity, business plans, and customer demand.
- Maintain planning parameters in SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Coordinate with Customer Service, Material Planners, and local and regional teams to align delivery commitments and production schedules.
- Manage MRP exception messages and resolve planning issues.
- Support S&OP and short-term planning by identifying risks and capacity constraints.
- Drive schedule stability and proactively address risks affecting deliveries, inventory, and production performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in Production Planning, Master Scheduling, or Supply Chain Planning in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of supply chain and production planning processes.
- Experience with MRP/MPS planning, capacity management, and implementation of planning processes, systems, or tools.
- Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system.
- Advanced English proficiency and availability to work onsite in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico.
