Sr Analyst, Production Planning

What you will do

• Develop, analyze, and implement production plans that balance customer demand, inventory targets, material availability, and manufacturing capacity.
• Coordinate with Production Supervisors, Value Stream Leaders, Demand Planning, Materials, Engineering, and Quality teams to execute the master production plan.
• Manage inventory levels for assigned product families and finished goods while minimizing backorders and excess inventory.
• Assess the impact of demand changes, material shortages, capacity limitations, and production disruptions, then develop mitigation and recovery plans.
• Own planning metrics including plan attainment, production efficiency, productivity, finished goods inventory, backorder performance, and customer service levels.
• Lead Make-to-Stock planning, continuous improvement initiatives, daily operational reviews, and coaching for junior planners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Production Planning, Supply Planning, Materials Planning, or Supply Chain roles in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Make-to-Stock manufacturing, inventory strategy, replenishment planning, and production schedule optimization.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, production planning methodologies, and supply chain processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
