Senior Technical Product Manager - User Terminal (Satellite Communications)

Location: Greater Seattle Area; U.S. Person required.

Base pay for Washington applicants: $169,347–$237,085.80 annually. Other site ranges may differ.

hirify.global develops reusable space vehicles and systems and is developing Terawave, a multi-orbit satellite communications network for enterprise connectivity.

What you will do

• Own the Terawave user terminal portfolio and multi-year roadmap across form factors, service tiers, and target industries.
• Write testable hardware and software requirements and technical specifications.
• Lead terminal programs from concept through qualification, type approval, regulatory certification, and volume production.
• Define terminal configurations, SWaP and installation specifications, certification strategies, pricing models, BOM cost targets, and total cost of ownership analyses.
• Coordinate with engineering, program management, supply chain, contract manufacturers, network and service product teams.
• Support enterprise sales cycles with terminal selection guides, qualification plans, technical collateral, and product expertise; mentor other product managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, RF and microwave engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 8 years of product management or technical program management experience.
• Experience owning a hardware product through the full NPI lifecycle, including requirements, design validation, qualification, type approval, and production ramp.
• Ability to author precise, testable hardware and software requirements and develop hardware business cases.
• Must be a U.S. Person. Eligible applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals, permanent residents, refugees, or asylees lawfully admitted to the United States.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or MBA with an engineering or technical undergraduate background.
• Experience with enterprise connectivity in maritime, aeronautical, energy, land mobility, government, or defense satcom.
• Experience with terminal network management software, remote provisioning and monitoring, or embedded firmware for satellite terminals.
