Spec-Driven Software Developer (AI) (Backend/AI-assisted engineering): Turning ambiguous product and technical requirements into precise specifications and guiding AI agents to implement reliable backend systems with an accent on architecture, databases, concurrency, scalability, and failure handling. Focus on reviewing AI-generated code, validating solutions through testing and production evidence, and improving engineering guardrails and specifications.
Location: Fully remote with flexible working hours

What you will do
- Translate product and technical requirements into precise, implementation-ready specifications.
- Identify ambiguity, hidden assumptions, constraints, failure scenarios, and technical risks before implementation.
- Guide AI agents through implementation by providing context, constraints, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Review AI-generated and unfamiliar code for correctness, architecture, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Design reliable backend components and data access patterns for production-scale systems.
- Validate solutions through testing, benchmarking, profiling, runtime metrics, and failure investigation.
Requirements
- Strong backend software engineering experience.
- Ability to turn ambiguous requirements into precise technical specifications.
- Understanding of backend architecture, databases, concurrency, performance, scalability, and failure handling.
- Strong code review, testing, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with CI/CD, observability, and production engineering practices.
- English sufficient for technical communication and documentation.
