What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs.
- Build and operate data pipelines that ingest public tender data from multiple sources and countries.
- Develop resilient data extraction and processing components, applying AI where it adds value.
- Manage and optimize relational databases for high-volume data workflows.
- Build AI-powered capabilities into products and data processes while reviewing AI-generated code.
- Contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, observability, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of professional software engineering experience with backend infrastructure and software design principles.
- Strong experience with C# and modern .NET.
- Strong experience with relational databases, including schema design and query optimization.
- Experience with large datasets, data pipelines, RESTful API design, and maintainable architecture.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants or agents, plus familiarity with Azure or a comparable cloud platform.
Nice to have
- Python experience for data processing, extraction, or AI integration.
- Experience with message queues or event-driven architectures such as Service Bus or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with Elasticsearch, vector search, or semantic search.
- Experience with multilingual or unstructured document data.
- Background in pharma, medtech, healthcare, or public procurement.
