Director, Enterprise Applications – SAP Platform

Location: Remote, based in the United States. Travel up to 30% domestically and internationally may be required.

Annual salary: $190,000–$215,000, plus bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Lead the SAP technical platform roadmap for S/4HANA, BTP, integrations, development frameworks, automation, and DevOps.
• Manage SAP Basis and platform operations, ABAP and Fiori delivery standards, integrations, SAP Security and GRC technical enablement, and AI-enabled productivity initiatives.
• Implement SAP best practices, Clean Core guidelines, platform standards, and cloud technology adoption plans.
• Maintain source control, release management, deployment, monitoring, traceability, auditability, compliance, and release quality standards.
• Partner with business, architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, compliance, and vendor teams to deliver secure, stable, scalable platform services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 10+ years of Enterprise Applications or SAP technical delivery experience.
• 5+ years leading SAP technical teams, managed service providers, engineering partners, or platform delivery teams.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Basis, ABAP, Fiori, SAP integrations, SAP Security and GRC, DevOps, and SDLC governance.
• Experience with SAP operating models, Clean Core governance, technical standards, application lifecycle management, release management, compliance, budgets, vendors, incident response, SOX, ITGC, validation, and audit readiness.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States and travel up to 30% as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP RISE Private Cloud, SAP Joule, AI-assisted development, cloud platform services, API architecture, or enterprise automation.
• Experience with Jira, GitHub, SAP Cloud ALM, Rev-Trac, Control-M, or similar delivery and operations platforms.
• Experience improving observability, automation, incident reduction, root-cause analysis, operational dashboards, and continuous improvement.
