Staff Software Engineer - Frontend (AI/ML)

Annual salary: $143,000–$286,000, plus performance-based bonuses and potential stock compensation.

What you will do

• Deliver platform capabilities, infrastructure, tooling, and machine-learning frameworks aligned with roadmap milestones.
• Drive the full software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Apply cloud-native architecture, microservices, containers, and automation to build scalable and resilient systems.
• Lead system design reviews and build AI-driven applications integrating machine-learning components.
• Mentor engineers, influence technical decisions, and promote engineering excellence.
• Collaborate across teams to define technical requirements and measure success through data-driven practices.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with a relevant bachelor's degree, or 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Expertise in cloud-native architecture, microservices, containers, and automation.
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns, API design, prototyping, CI/CD, and observability.
• Experience with debugging, remedial action, continuous improvement, and data-driven engineering decisions.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, including mentoring engineering teams.
• Adaptability and sound technical judgment in evolving technology and business environments.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related field.
• Experience implementing WCAG 2.2 AA standards, using assistive technologies, and building accessible digital experiences.
