Engineer II - Advanced Systems Engineering (HVAC)

Location: La Crosse, Wisconsin, United States; onsite Monday through Thursday and flexible location on Fridays

Annual base salary: $84,740–$118,860

What you will do

• Perform engineering design support, calculations, analysis, testing, and technical documentation.
• Support product and system development by evaluating data and recommending improvements to performance, reliability, cost, and manufacturability.
• Prepare plans, specifications, and other engineering deliverables in accordance with quality and compliance requirements.
• Apply engineering tools and methods across data insights, product application, project management, reliability, qualification, and technical problem solving.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, operations, and global stakeholders on project execution and issue resolution.
• Support advanced technology implementation, modular system architecture, continuous improvement, and defined work activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Typically 3+ years of relevant experience in HVAC, mechanical systems, product development, systems engineering, or a related field; less experience may be required with an advanced degree.
• Experience applying engineering principles to design, analysis, testing, and technical problem solving in a structured development environment.
• Ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, communicate clearly, and take accountability for assigned work.
• Intermediate proficiency in applicable engineering and professional competencies.

Nice to have

• Exposure to global products, regulatory considerations, or modular platform development.
• Experience in the HVAC industry or related mechanical systems.
