Senior Developer (React)

Location: Canada

Annual salary: $128,000–$200,000; most new hires join at $152,000.

What you will do

• Modernize Online Booking and My Account by building React features and migrating existing sections while services remain live.
• Develop across the stack using React, TypeScript, Rails, APIs, and backend services.
• Build accessible experiences supporting keyboard navigation, screen readers, focus management, and ARIA.
• Contribute to technical discussions, design documentation, architecture planning, and thoughtful code reviews.
• Own complex long-lived bugs, improve legacy code, and support safe releases through feature flags and production monitoring.
• Help teammates grow through pairing, feedback, and knowledge sharing while applying AI responsibly in development work.

Requirements

• Around 5 or more years of professional software development experience at a senior level.
• Strong hands-on experience with React and TypeScript.
• Full-stack experience with frontend features, APIs, and backend code.
• Experience modernizing a long-lived production codebase in stages without taking it offline.
• Knowledge of accessibility practices such as WCAG 2.1 AA, keyboard behavior, focus management, and ARIA.
• Experience with feature flags, gradual rollouts, production monitoring, collaborative technical communication, and everyday AI-assisted development.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with client-side routing, Redux Toolkit, screen reader testing, or embeddable widgets.
