Manager Cyber Security (AI)

Location: Milan, Italy; hybrid work with office presence shaped by business needs, team norms, and local policies

Base salary: €84,000–€90,000 per year, plus an annual discretionary performance bonus.

What you will do

• Lead cybersecurity roadmaps, strategic initiatives, and end-to-end security solutions aligned with client objectives and digital transformation programs.
• Manage complex cybersecurity projects, including delivery quality, timelines, budgets, and security advisory support.
• Help clients achieve and maintain certifications such as ISO 27001.
• Design innovative security solutions using AI, blockchain, and cloud computing across identity and access governance, data protection, monitoring, and network protection.
• Lead, mentor, and develop interdisciplinary cybersecurity teams while supporting recruitment and a culture of continuous learning.
• Select and manage cybersecurity vendors, service providers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• University degree in cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience in IT security consulting or a similar role, including leadership of sizable and complex projects.
• Practical knowledge of cybersecurity operating processes and frameworks including NIST, ISO/IEC 27000, and SABSA.
• Excellent communication skills in Italian and English are required.
• Strong leadership skills, with experience managing interdisciplinary teams and complex stakeholder relationships.
• Willingness to travel extensively for client engagements and project requirements.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 certification.
• Experience working in global contexts and adapting to rapidly changing environments.
