Senior Technical Solutions Specialist (Geology)

Location: Office-based in Perth, Australia, with approximately 10–20% regional and international travel.

What you will do

• Provide expert guidance on geological modelling workflows and integrated Mineral Resource Management solutions for mining customers.
• Partner with Account Managers and sales teams to understand customer workflows, deliver demonstrations, establish trials, and create implementation plans.
• Provide remote technical support using real customer examples and develop practical solutions to complex challenges.
• Conduct customer health checks, promote new releases, and help users adopt new features and best-practice workflows.
• Deliver training on Leapfrog Geo, Edge, and Central.
• Collaborate with regional and global technical specialists and software development teams to represent user needs and improve solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor-level qualification in geoscience and at least 8 years of experience in resource and/or mining roles.
• Experience with geological modelling, resource estimation, mine geology, resource geology, or consulting across different commodities.
• Strong 3D geological modelling software skills and proficiency with Leapfrog for geological modelling and resource estimation.
• Highly technical and professional English communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Customer-focused, collaborative, and able to mentor others, manage competing priorities independently, and build sustainable working relationships.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of geostatistics.
• Experience with Python or other scripting-based estimation and simulation workflows.
