Principal Solution Architect - Lead (Aerospace)

Location: Lone Tree, Colorado, United States; office or hybrid environment. U.S. citizenship is required, and the role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Estimated starting salary: $165,010.21–$226,889.04 annually, plus performance-based incentive pay.

What you will do

• Provide strategic direction for designing and implementing innovative technology solutions.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to gather, analyze, and document high-level requirements.
• Analyze complex business problems and develop robust, scalable solutions.
• Lead design reviews, make strategic architecture decisions, and maintain solution architecture documentation.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and their impact on organizational platforms and standards.
• Lead project planning and execution, troubleshoot complex implementation issues, and drive successful delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience; 16 years of related experience may substitute for the degree.
• 12+ years of experience in solution architecture or a related field.
• Expert knowledge of solution architecture principles and frameworks, system integration, and software development methodologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of security, scalability, performance, problem-solving, and strategic solution design.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and enterprise software development.
• TOGAF or AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.
