What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud and hybrid architectures using AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Define requirements, APIs, serverless frameworks, libraries, and distributed systems architectures.
• Design large-scale systems based on microservices and containers.
• Create and maintain virtualized, containerized, and cloud-ready environments, including security updates and component modernization.
• Collaborate with customers, software teams, security teams, and cross-functional stakeholders throughout the systems development lifecycle.
• Support business development through white papers, trade studies, rapid prototyping, and technical proposal responses.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 9 years of relevant experience, graduate degree with at least 7 years, or 13 years of relevant experience without a degree.
• At least 6 years of software development experience.
• Experience leading enterprise solutions involving RESTful web services, microservices, and cloud components.
• Experience with cloud computing, containers, VPCs, infrastructure as code, security groups, and automated deployment pipelines.
• Experience with tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, CloudFormation, Terraform, Puppet, or Ansible.
• Ability to obtain and maintain FAA public trust suitability; certain security clearances may require U.S. citizenship.

Nice to have

• AWS Solutions Architect, AWS SysOps, or Kubernetes Administrator certifications.
• Experience with Python, Bash, relational and NoSQL databases, and multi-cloud environments.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban development processes.
