What you will do

• Evaluate, manage, and optimize finance-related enterprise data platforms for scalability, security, and accessibility.
• Lead data infrastructure modernization and cloud migrations using platforms such as Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric.
• Design, build, and support scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses, and analytical data models.
• Establish and maintain standards for data governance, integration, quality assurance, security, and lifecycle management.
• Integrate JSON, XML, and API-based data sources and automate data workflows with Python.
• Collaborate with IT, business units, and senior management while monitoring and improving data system performance.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in senior data engineering, database architecture, or data platform management.
• Advanced SQL, data modeling, relational database, and performance tuning skills.
• Experience designing data pipelines, data warehouses, and analytical models.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or similar services.
• Proficiency in Python, Git, API integration, JSON, and XML.
• Understanding of data governance, security, lifecycle management, and Agile development.

Nice to have

• Certifications in database management or cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of finance, ERP systems, or financial reporting tools.
• Experience with law firm or professional services databases such as Aderant Expert, Foundation, or iManage.
• Exposure to artificial intelligence and large language models.
