Assistant Vice President, Digital Applications (Insurance)

Location: Hartford, Connecticut, United States

Annual base salary: $186,900–$308,300, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end technical strategy for internal and external digital properties, Sales and Service, call center, agency lifecycle management, and marketing platforms.
• Drive Data 360, Agentforce, Salesforce, Genesys, conversational AI, Unily, Optimizely, and AI-enabled content architecture strategies.
• Lead and develop a team of architects aligned to the Digital Applications Value Stream.
• Own architecture accountability for Agency Lifecycle Management, Producer Lifecycle modernization, and Customer Intelligence & Activation investments.
• Define target-state architectures, technology roadmaps, proof of concepts, enterprise alignment, and modernization initiatives.
• Influence senior Technology and Business leaders, shape organizational priorities, and communicate architectural direction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related STEM field, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 8 additional years of architecture or software engineering experience and 3 years of technical leadership experience.
• At least 10 years of architecture experience, including advanced architecture capability and recent hands-on engineering experience with modern technologies.
• Experience creating and executing complex, large-scale technology strategies, target states, and roadmaps.
• Strong executive leadership, mentoring, communication, collaboration, and enterprise influence skills.
• Advanced knowledge of the insurance industry and experience with transformational change and agile operating models are expected; insurance technology experience is preferred.
