Product Engineer, Consultant (AI)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; onsite/hybrid attendance is required on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

What you will do

• Partner with investment professionals to identify business problems and translate priorities into practical technology solutions.
• Build and iterate AI-enabled research solutions using the firm's technology platform.
• Identify patterns that can become reusable platform capabilities and coordinate with Engineering on production-grade enhancements.
• Support the transition from pilots to production solutions when appropriate.
• Own rollout activities, including stakeholder coordination, training, and adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in investment management, investment research, portfolio management, or a related investment role.
• Professional understanding of investment research, diligence, portfolio reviews, or related workflows.
• Experience improving or automating manual work processes.
• Interest in applying AI and modern tooling to investment problems; experience with specific tools is not required.
• Ability to work in the Chicago office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
