Cyber Systems Engineer Senior Technical Specialist - RMF

Location: Chantilly, Virginia; no remote or telework allowed. Customer core hours are 09:00–15:00, Monday–Friday.

Salary: $148,515.72–$258,240.01 per year.

What you will do

• Support cybersecurity, information assurance, and Risk Management Framework activities for a national customer.
• Collaborate with risk management stakeholders to improve and modernize processes and automate decision timelines.
• Provide senior-level support to government leadership and coordinate with SETAs and other stakeholders.
• Develop project reviews, portfolio roadmaps, technical requirements, papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings.
• Analyze policies and procedures against federal laws and regulations and recommend gap-closure actions.
• Develop strategies for privacy and risk management compliance.

Requirements

• BS with 12–15 years of experience, MS with 10–13 years, or PhD with 10+ years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• DoD 8570/8140 cybersecurity certification.
• Experience supporting cybersecurity, risk management, compliance, and federal government stakeholders.
• Ability to work during customer core hours and support a deadline-driven environment.

Nice to have

• Systems engineering experience in configuration management, requirements management, architecture, and interfaces.
• Experience briefing senior customer personnel.
• Familiarity with enterprise cross-domain solutions and customer information assurance processes.
• Experience supporting the intelligence community or Department of Defense.
