Client Financial Associate (Healthcare)

Location: Remote Flex - North Carolina; remote work with a few in-office visits each year. Candidates outside the local area may be considered in states listed on the posting. The role may involve connection with the Durham headquarters.

Salary: $50,337.00–$80,539.00 annually

What you will do

• Support the development, analysis, interpretation, invoicing, reporting, and presentation of historical and forecasted financial claims expenses.
• Prepare forecasts, financial statements, stop loss coverage calculations, employer group reports, and vendor reports.
• Perform monthly variance analysis, account reconciliations, transaction fee verification, contractual adjustments, and month-end close activities.
• Research claims, plan policies, products, rates, enrollment, underwriting, contracts, and program engagement to resolve inquiries and identify root causes.
• Determine stop loss benefit eligibility based on claimants, utilization, provider information, medical reviews, leave of absence language, COBRA benefits, and plan documentation.
• Support audits, quality reviews, employer group settlements, claims transactions, and operational service accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree where required.
• 0–2 years of experience in a related field.
• Three or more years of related experience may substitute for the degree.
• Remote Flex work requires occasional in-office visits; onsite expectations are discussed during the interview process.
