Site Supervisor - Gen Gas (Industrial Gases)

Location: California, United States; onsite work supporting facilities in the Silicon Valley/San Francisco Bay Area

Salary: $110,000–$160,000 per year

What you will do

• Supervise the day-to-day operation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of three generated-gases production facilities.
• Lead safety performance, process safety management, environmental compliance, record-keeping, and administrative activities.
• Coordinate maintenance, preventive maintenance, mechanical integrity, turnaround, and shutdown planning and execution.
• Develop corrective and preventive measures, lead incident investigations, and resolve plant process, mechanical, and operational problems.
• Drive plant efficiency and manage capital and maintenance projects within planned budgets.
• Coordinate with regional operations, maintenance, technical support, logistics, customers, community representatives, and regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least two years of experience in a manufacturing, production, processing, chemical, or petrochemical environment, or a certificate in process technology or maintenance.
• Strong operating experience in plants or operations of similar complexity, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot problems.
• Dedication to safety, EH&S, quality, process safety, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication, leadership, and digital literacy skills.
• Ability to provide 24/7 on-call response to plant alarms and shutdowns.

Nice to have

• Experience operating generated-gas and air-separation fractional-distillation processes.
• Industrial plant maintenance experience.
• Instrumentation, electrical, or mechanical experience.
• Certificate in process technology or a maintenance field.
