Location: On-site in New Castle, Delaware, United States

Salary: $60,000 per year, with potential for a monthly incentive

What you will do

• Verify vendor invoice data in the general ledger and reconcile invoices against purchase orders.
• Reconcile open accounts payable balances with vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with production and vendors.
• Prepare daily and monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts, including accounts payable.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including vendor accruals, to the general ledger.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support other accounting team members.

Requirements

• BS in Accounting or a similar major.
• Experience with accounts payable, especially date and invoice reconciliation.
• Intermediate Excel and strong computer skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work positively and collaboratively in a team environment.
