Accountant (CPA Required)

hirify.global is seeking an accountant to support financial reporting, global reconciliations, payment operations, and financial controls.

What you will do

• Prepare quarterly financial summaries and variance analysis reports covering actual results, budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.
• Reconcile international expenses, revenue, expense accounts, and general ledger balances, investigating discrepancies and preparing adjustments.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for month-end and quarter-end close.
• Execute approved domestic and international payments, including wire transfers and foreign currency transactions.
• Maintain payment and reconciliation records, follow approval procedures, and support internal and external audits.
• Identify improvements to reporting accuracy, reconciliation processes, and payment efficiency.

Requirements

• Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, and account reconciliations.
• Experience with quarterly financial summaries, variance analysis, payments, wire transfers, and foreign currency transactions.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, general ledger accounting, and internal controls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems, with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• At least five years of experience supporting multinational organizations or multiple legal entities.
• Experience with multicurrency accounting, global expense reconciliation, cash management, banking platforms, or treasury operations.
• Experience supporting external audits and improving accounting processes.
• Bilingual Spanish or French skills.
