Junior SRE

Location: Onsite in Seattle, Washington, 5 days a week. Schedule: Tuesday–Thursday, 6:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

Salary: $104,500–$162,500 annual

What you will do

• Monitor critical systems and dashboards to identify performance and availability anomalies.
• Participate in on-call incident response, troubleshooting, outage mitigation, and service restoration.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, document findings, and help prevent recurrence.
• Improve monitoring, logging, alerting, observability, fault tolerance, and operational readiness.
• Write scripts to automate operational tasks, remediation, reporting, and documentation.
• Support SLO and SLI tracking and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Foundational understanding of site reliability engineering, monitoring, alerting, and incident management.
• Exposure to Prometheus, Datadog, New Relic, Grafana, Splunk, or Elasticsearch.
• Basic proficiency in Python, Go, Bash, or Java for automation and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure, as well as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
