Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack Web Development)

Location: San Jose, United States. Hybrid work is generally structured around office attendance Monday through Thursday, with Fridays flexible for remote work; up to one day per week of telecommuting may be permitted.

Annual salary for California: $255,000–$527,000.

What you will do

• Research, design, and develop computer and network software programs.
• Build tools and platform capabilities for programming operations and content workflows.
• Develop scalable and reliable platform services and components for the core web application platform.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and search engine optimization.
• Optimize the web application platform and improve implementation for developers and partners.
• Participate in Agile scoping, technical design, estimation, coding, testing, debugging, code reviews, maintenance, and support.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in the position or a related occupation.
• At least 1 year of experience with algorithms and data structures, object-oriented design, and software engineering practices.
• At least 1 year of full-stack web development experience with JavaScript frameworks, React, NodeJS, TypeScript, and React Native.
• Experience with AWS Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, Lambda, CloudFront, HTML, CSS, Java, DynamoDB, S3, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Work from the San Jose office is generally expected Monday through Thursday.
