AI Silicon, Analog CAD Engineer

hirify.global is developing semiconductor-based computing architecture designed to make AI computation substantially more energy efficient.

What you will do

• Install, configure, integrate, and manage analog and digital CAD environments.
• Develop agentic AI-based analog workflows to improve design productivity and quality.
• Install and version-control foundry PDKs, standard cell libraries, and I/O libraries, including environment variables and shared library structures.
• Configure schematic entry and layout environments, including bindkeys, display settings, layer definitions, and PCELL integration.
• Create and validate GDSII streamout scripts and coordinate the tapeout process with the foundry.
• Evaluate CAD tools, manage revision control, document design flows, and train internal design teams.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of industry experience in analog or mixed-signal CAD engineering and EDA tool administration.
• Expertise in installing and validating foundry PDKs and standard cell libraries.
• Strong understanding of schematic, layout, and simulation setup across process corners and temperatures.
• Experience setting up and debugging DRC, LVS, and ERC rule decks for advanced nodes.
• Strong scripting skills in Tcl, Python, or Perl, plus excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience bridging Verilog RTL, synthesis, and physical layout into analog design environments.
• Experience administering EDA tools in SaaS or cloud compute environments, including license allocation and job scheduling.
• Familiarity with AI tools for accelerating chip design.
