Software Development Engineer in Test (QA Automation)

What you will do

• Architect automated test strategies, frameworks, plans, and test cases for web, mobile, database, and service applications.
• Build, debug, maintain, and execute end-to-end automated tests across applications, devices, and platforms.
• Develop automation and coverage tools for continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Test RESTful APIs, web services, system interfaces, and application integrations.
• Lead quality planning, requirements traceability, defect prioritization, testing metrics, and user-acceptance testing.
• Coach Software Test Engineers and collaborate with developers and cross-functional Agile teams.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of software testing experience with test automation focused on web, mobile, databases, or web services.
• Experience with regression, functional, unit, integration, coverage, performance, and load testing.
• Experience testing RESTful API integrations and using API testing frameworks such as Karate, Gatling, JMeter, or Postman.
• Experience with test management and Agile tools such as qTest, ALM, TFS, Rally, Jira, or ServiceNow.
• Programming experience with JavaScript or related languages such as C#, Java, and TypeScript, plus knowledge of open-source web frameworks and application testing tools.
• Strong critical thinking, written and verbal communication, service-oriented architecture knowledge, and experience reviewing pull requests.
