Location: Remote within Saskatchewan, Canada; preferred locations are Saskatoon or Prince Albert. Regular travel, including overnight trips of up to approximately 20%, is required to Northern and remote communities.
Salary: CAD $32–$35 per hour, approximately CAD $66,560–$72,800 annually based on a 40-hour work week. A broader compensation range of CAD $24.80–$43.20 per hour is also listed.

What you will do
- Coordinate subcontractor scheduling, assignments, performance tracking, onboarding, and training.
- Conduct and coordinate QA/QC reviews of residential retrofit work against program, safety, and building science standards.
- Process and monitor work orders, maintain program records, support reporting, and identify operational bottlenecks.
- Coordinate field visits with communities and subcontractors and support transitions to new operational systems.
- Handle sensitive escalations and participate in client interactions with contractors, participants, community members, leadership, and housing authorities.
- Travel to Northern First Nation and Métis communities to support field activity and oversee on-site work.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in construction, trades, residential energy efficiency, or program operations.
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and produce accurate reports that comply with contract terms.
- Experience coordinating external contractors, subcontractors, or trades and managing multiple work orders, schedules, and priorities.
- Working knowledge of residential building science, home construction practices, or energy-efficiency retrofits.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and willingness to travel regularly to remote and Northern communities.
- Must be authorized to work in Canada without employer sponsorship or immigration support; successful hires must pass pre-employment checks.
Nice to have
- Trades background in carpentry, general construction, HVAC, or a similar field.
- Building science credential such as BPI, or willingness to obtain one.
- Experience engaging with Indigenous communities, including Northern and remote First Nation and Métis contexts.
- Education or certification in construction, building science, or engineering.
- Experience researching industry trends and applying them to program design and improvement.
