Associate Director, Business Partnerships, Teamship (EdTech)

Location: Remote in the United States; employees near hirify.global offices may work fully remotely or hybrid, with in-office work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Occasional business travel is required, approximately three to five times per year.

Salary: $56,000–$95,000 annually, adjusted based on location, experience, impact, and market data.

What you will do

• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective business partners aligned with Teamship program needs.
• Recruit and convert partners from initial outreach through confirmed participation using clear, compelling communication.
• Create high-quality matches between businesses and Teamship programs, ensuring every program placement is filled before launch.
• Onboard, schedule, and support partners throughout program delivery.
• Work with businesses to define clear and authentic challenges for student teams to solve.
• Improve systems, workflows, and resources that increase operational efficiency and program scalability.

Requirements

• Strong ownership, urgency, follow-through, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to build trust and communicate effectively with business leaders, educators, small businesses, and senior stakeholders.
• Confidence with external outreach and representing the Teamship mission.
• Creative, solutions-oriented problem solving with the ability to work strategically and execute detailed tasks.
• Ability to work effectively in remote or hybrid environments and travel on behalf of hirify.global three to five times per year.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.
