Professional Services Data Center Deployment Specialist

Location: Hybrid in Durham, North Carolina, or remote within the United States. US citizenship is required. Travel up to 60% domestically and internationally is required.

Salary: $60,000–$75,000 base pay annually, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Assess customer site readiness, infrastructure requirements, and deployment risks.
• Plan installation, configuration, testing, and validation approaches for assigned deployments.
• Rack, cable, configure, deploy, and validate compute, storage, and networking systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, network, and system issues and implement effective solutions.
• Serve as the primary on-site technical resource, coordinating with customers, project managers, engineers, vendors, and support personnel.
• Document configurations, test results, issues, decisions, and deployment outcomes while contributing to process improvements and mentoring.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience supporting data center, compute, network, or infrastructure deployments.
• Experience installing CAT6 and fiber cabling and building, configuring, or repairing compute servers.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, work independently at customer sites, and communicate risks and status clearly.
• Familiarity with data center environments and safety practices.
• US citizenship, a valid driver’s license, and ability to travel up to 60% are required.
