Principal Product Manager (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and end-to-end lifecycle for security cases, from signal intake and triage through investigation, response, communication, closure, and learning.
• Lead migration from a general-purpose work-management backend to a purpose-built case platform, including data migration, parallel running, sequencing, and cutover without interrupting 24/7 service delivery.
• Define the case data model covering evidence, entities, timelines, actions, approvals, and outcomes.
• Drive build, buy, or extend decisions and develop two-way integrations with customer ticketing and IT service management platforms such as ServiceNow and Jira Service Management.
• Shape AI-assisted and human-in-the-loop workflows, investigation experiences, notification paths, escalations, and integrations with major security partners.
• Partner with Engineering, Architecture, SOC leadership, Threat Research, UX, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing while mentoring Product Managers and influencing leadership decisions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Product Management experience owning complex platforms, workflow systems, or services.
• Experience migrating a live legacy system of record, including data migration and outage-free cutover.
• Background in case management, incident management, IT service management, or security operations tooling.
• Direct exposure to SOC operations, incident response, or detection and response workflows in an MDR, MSSP, or enterprise security environment.
• Ability to work with Engineering on data models, APIs, event-driven synchronization, permissions, multi-tenancy, reliability, and performance.
• Experience with human-in-the-loop automation or AI-assisted workflows, enterprise B2B customers, managed services, and influencing without authority.
