Ops Lead ES - Canada (Waste Operations)

What you will do

• Direct duties and provide operational guidance for shifts, projects, and crews handling incoming and outgoing waste.
• Coordinate operations personnel, vendors, transporters, treatment facilities, inventory, supplies, and work areas.
• Direct material off-loading and oversee waste sampling, analysis, treatment simulations, and post-treatment testing.
• Make treatment and batch-clearance decisions consistent with waste profiles and facility operating permits, including reviewing and signing RCRA manifests.
• Enforce safety procedures, train facility personnel, provide performance feedback, and support emergency response activities.
• Identify maintenance needs for plant and transportation equipment and help relieve operational bottlenecks when required.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of personnel management, operations, equipment, waste processing, and recycling techniques.
• Knowledge of receiving, purchasing, work orders, special licenses, and DOT training.
• Strong accuracy, thoroughness, attention to detail, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
• A valid driver’s license may be required; a CDL or other special license or certificate may also be required for some positions.
• Ability to work on site in Beamsville, Ontario, Canada and participate in facility and transportation emergency response activities.
