Field Service Engineer (Robotics)

Location: UK and Europe client sites, with frequent international travel and an initial three-month training period in the Production team. A full clean UK driving licence and an unrestricted passport are required. Relocation and visa sponsorship are not available.

What you will do

• Complete training in the electro-mechanical assembly of hirify.global robots within the Production team.
• Perform on-site and off-site servicing and repairs for robots and related equipment.
• Find faults, troubleshoot systems, and maintain robot fleets at international client sites.
• Develop work instructions and service plans aligned with engineering recommendations.
• Maintain product traceability and currency records while supporting quality assurance and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and support additional operational or administrative duties.

Requirements

• More than five years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly and service within a precision industry such as motorsport, aerospace, railway, or automotive.
• Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills.
• Ability to travel frequently to client sites in the UK and abroad, with an unrestricted passport.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, close attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Ability to lead a team through challenging situations and adapt to changing working hours and locations.
• Full clean UK driving licence required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Slack, or G Suite.
• Experience with manufacturing execution systems.
• Linux operating system experience.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies.

Hiring process
