Maintenance Engineer (Electrical)

Location: Doncaster 2 Warehouse, DN3 3FQ, United Kingdom. On-site role with a 42-hour rotating schedule covering days, nights, and weekends; work at heights of up to 20m is required with appropriate training.

Salary: £21.32 per hour basic pay, plus a 15% nights premium and bonus scheme. Full-year OTE is approximately £54,000 including basic pay, premium, and bonus, with overtime opportunities.

What you will do

• Maintain and repair warehouse automation and equipment to support continuous operations.
• Find faults and diagnose PLC-controlled equipment.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance on pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, and robots.
• Analyze and resolve electrical and mechanical faults and complete repairs.
• Conduct inspections and assist with departmental risk assessments.
• Work with ASI and Profibus systems and perform duties at heights of up to 20m.

Requirements

• Level 3 Apprenticeship in Electrical Maintenance Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar Maintenance Engineer or Technician role.
• PLC experience and experience maintaining pneumatics, hydraulics, and conveyors.
• Resilience, adaptability, and the ability to work under pressure across changing working hours.
• Good communication, teamwork, and PC literacy.
