Development Team Leader (AI)

Location: Nashville, Tennessee, United States; onsite five days a week. Relocation is available. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $118,860–$190,176 per year.

What you will do

• Lead the Artemis IT delivery platform and a global team of developers and engineers.
• Own the platform roadmap and backlog, prioritize demand, define outcomes, and sequence releases.
• Standardize delivery workflows, milestones, development practices, release management, and governance.
• Define responsible applications of AI and automation in software delivery, including evaluation and guardrails.
• Own testing and quality strategy, including test planning, automation, regression testing, defect resolution, and business validation.
• Partner with business, architecture, security, engineering, and vendor stakeholders to manage requirements, risks, controls, adoption, and delivery value.

Requirements

• 7+ years leading delivery of a software product or platform as a product owner, delivery lead, technical program lead, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with software testing strategies, test automation, regression testing, defect management, and user acceptance testing.
• Familiarity with modern web application stacks including React, APIs, and cloud services such as AWS.
• Working knowledge of generative AI and responsible AI applications in software delivery.
• Experience with Agile delivery and backlog tools; Azure DevOps is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Production experience applying AI or automation to software delivery.
• Experience building test automation frameworks or QA practices.
• Experience in financial services or other regulated industries, including SOX, audit, or IT risk.
• Experience with enterprise integrations such as Snowflake, ServiceNow, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience leading global or distributed teams, including contractor resources.
