Senior Strategic Sourcing Partner (AI)

Location: Texas, United States; hybrid work with a minimum of 3 days per week in the assigned office.

Base salary: $71,000–$89,126 USD annually, depending on location, experience, knowledge, and skills. Equity and benefits are also included.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing lifecycles for cloud software, security tooling, and other technology categories.
• Manage commercial and technology contracting, including SaaS, IaaS, security tools, licensing metrics, and professional services.
• Drive proactive renewals and optimize supplier performance across mission-critical vendors.
• Partner with Engineering, Security, Finance, Legal, and Accounting stakeholders on sourcing and contracting decisions.
• Support Procurement Operations with reporting, data analysis, and process improvement projects.
• Use AI, automation, and data intelligence to accelerate cycle times, reduce manual work, and deliver commercial value.

Requirements

• 3–6+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement operations, vendor management, or spend analytics.
• Advanced data analysis, reporting, Excel, and Google Sheets skills, including extracting data, running queries, and presenting leadership reports.
• Experience with technology contracts and commercial negotiations, with the ability to partner with Legal and InfoSec.
• Strong operational problem-solving and process improvement skills.
• Clear cross-functional communication with Engineering, Security, Finance, Legal, and Accounting stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-growth technology, SaaS, or cloud environments.
• Experience with Zip.
• Six Sigma or Lean Sigma certification.
