TL;DR
Senior Contracts Administrator (Technology Contracts): Preparing, negotiating, awarding, and administering complex technology contracts with an accent on pre-award contracting, competitive bidding, and commercial risk management. Focus on drafting complete contract documents, negotiating pricing and liability provisions, coordinating cross-functional evaluations, and resolving changes, claims, and disputes.

Location: Tampa, Florida, United States; hybrid schedule with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote. Travel may be required throughout Florida and to vendor locations in North America.

What you will do

  • Plan pre-procurement activities and select appropriate contracting methods.
  • Prepare technical specifications, scopes of work, contract documents, and commercial terms for bid solicitation.
  • Manage RFP, RFQ, and bidding activities, including solicitation development, bid evaluation, vendor communications, and commercial analysis.
  • Lead contract formation and negotiations with business, Legal, Risk, regulatory, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and vendor stakeholders.
  • Prepare award recommendations, finalize agreements, issue purchase orders, and coordinate contract execution.
  • Administer contracts through changes, claims, disputes, invoice review, compliance, closeout, due diligence, and supplier improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of direct experience in construction, project engineering, contract management, project management, or quantity surveying.
  • Technology contracts experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in contract administration, drafting, negotiation, and commercial management.
  • Advanced competency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to adapt to change and complete assigned tasks effectively.

Nice to have

  • Working knowledge of an ERP or SAP environment.
  • Experience with Contract Life Management systems, especially SMART by GEP.
