TL;DR
Associate Contracts Manager (Supervisory) (Contracts): Managing proposals, negotiations, contract awards, and administration across state, local, commercial, and occasional federal contracts with an accent on compliance, risk assessment, and business/price proposal development. Focus on negotiating complex contractual documents, identifying obligations and risks, and leading junior contracts personnel.

Location: Reston, Virginia, United States; hybrid preferred, with 100% remote work available in the 48 contiguous United States. Infrequent travel to hirify.global offices or customer locations may be required.

Salary: $89,261–$151,744 per year.

What you will do

  • Manage multiple proposals, negotiations, contract awards, and contract administration activities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Negotiate MSAs, NDAs, teaming agreements, scopes of work, and other contractual documents.
  • Develop business and price proposal volumes, assess contract obligations and risks, and support compliance with solicitation requirements and company policies.
  • Advise management and program teams on contractual rights, obligations, revisions, non-compliance risks, and government regulations.
  • Coordinate agreements and contract documentation with accounting, legal, tax, and other corporate functions.
  • Manage a portfolio of active projects, delegate workload, and lead the development of junior contracts personnel.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in contracts administration.
  • 0–1 year of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with state and local and/or commercial contract arrangements.
  • Experience independently leading and writing business or price proposal volumes.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Proficiency with common computer programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience with state and local, commercial, and U.S. Government clients.
  • CFCM and/or CPCM certification.
