Platform Validation Intern

Location: Guadalajara, Mexico; hybrid work model with time split between the hirify.global site and off-site work

hirify.global's Data Center Group develops and validates high-performance computing platforms and data-centric technologies.

What you will do

• Set up platforms, configure hardware, and deploy operating systems.
• Execute test cases and report results during validation cycles.
• Perform triage and investigate root causes of platform issues.
• Script manual test cases and automate test plans with orchestration tools.
• Follow engineering processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field, with at least one year remaining as an active student.
• At least one year of experience with Python or similar scripting languages, Linux, computer assembly, firmware or software updates, and system validation.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico is required; visa or immigration sponsorship is not available.
• Strong organizational skills, eagerness to learn, and ability to work effectively in a team.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with GitHub, SVN, GitLab, Jenkins, or Airflow.
