What you will do

• Establish and mature enterprise information management architecture principles, standards, reference patterns, and lightweight governance.
• Define current-state, transition-state, and future-state architectures and maintain a practical architecture library.
• Guide the evolution from Azure Data Lake and Synapse toward Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, and Fabric Data Warehouse.
• Define how Dynamics 365 F&O, Dataverse, enterprise applications, integrations, and analytical platforms work together.
• Guide architecture across ingestion, storage, transformation, modeling, analytics, metadata, lineage, cataloging, governance, master data, and data quality.
• Partner with data engineers and technology teams, review significant solutions, resolve complex technical problems, and mentor experienced engineers.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience progressing from solution development and implementation into architecture and technical leadership.
• Strong experience designing enterprise data platforms, data warehouses, lakehouses, or similar large-scale data solutions.
• Deep knowledge of dimensional, relational, and enterprise or domain-oriented data modeling.
• Strong architecture experience in the Microsoft and Azure data ecosystem.
• Working knowledge of APIs, pipelines, orchestration, integration architecture, and system-to-system data movement.
• Ability to influence technical decisions, communicate with engineers and senior leadership, and balance scalability, security, performance, maintainability, cost, and delivery realities.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Fabric Data Warehouse, or lakehouse architecture.
• Dynamics 365 F&O and Dataverse architecture experience.
• MDM, data quality, metadata, catalog, lineage, or data governance platform implementation.
• Enterprise integration, EDI/B2B, analytics, semantic layer, or Power BI architecture.
• TOGAF, DAMA/DMBOK, FinOps, vendor evaluation, or technical people leadership experience.
