Network Administrator III (Cisco/Windows)

What you will do

• Configure, upgrade, troubleshoot, and maintain IT infrastructure equipment, applications, databases, servers, backup systems, phones, radios, security cameras, access systems, and Active Directory.
• Administer physical and virtual servers, operating systems, storage, backup and recovery, identity services, and integrations with manufacturing and operational technology environments.
• Support users with software, hardware, peripheral, and application issues using established tracking, escalation, and resolution processes.
• Monitor infrastructure health, capacity, patching, configuration, and lifecycle requirements.
• Coordinate remediation with internal teams and third-party service providers.
• Participate in site safety programs, emergency response, turnaround execution, and after-hours support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of related professional experience may be preferred.
• Strong foundational knowledge of information technology, including Cisco equipment and Windows servers.
• Ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly to diverse audiences.
• Ability to provide on-call and support outside normal business hours.
• Safety training may be required.

Nice to have

• CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ certification.
• Knowledge of software-defined networking, including SD-WAN.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
