Safety Specialist (Occupational Safety)

Location: 300 Tomlinson Road, Zelienople, PA 16063, United States. Remote work is not available. Substantial travel is required.

Salary: $5,960.29–$9,834.48 per month

What you will do

• Support industrial, occupational, fleet vehicle, logistics, transportation, surface operations, network operations, and air operations safety.
• Apply safety concepts, practices, regulations, and industry trends to operational activities.
• Investigate safety issues and analyze complex or confidential information.
• Manage multiple projects, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines.
• Communicate with and collaborate effectively across all levels of management.
• Travel substantially to support safety operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Human Science, Logistics/Transportation, Business Management, or a related field.
• Alternatively, a high school diploma or GED plus four years of relevant experience may be accepted in addition to the required experience.
• Five years of experience in industrial/occupational safety, commercial truck fleet vehicle safety, logistics/transportation, operations safety, or FedEx operations management.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong investigation, analytical, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based platforms; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

• Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.
