Accounts Payable Manager (SAP)

What you will do

• Lead daily Accounts Payable operations, including invoice processing, supplier payments, payment approvals, and related controls.
• Monitor supplier-payment cash requirements and support cash forecasting.
• Manage, coach, and develop the AP team through workload planning, training, feedback, and goal setting.
• Use SAP, VIM, and related tools for invoice approvals, exceptions, reporting, three-way matching, and process documentation.
• Support month-end close through accruals, journal entries, GR/IR and AP reconciliations, and audit requests.
• Improve AP performance, resolve supplier and invoice issues, and maintain vendor master data and fraud-prevention controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least eight years of Accounts Payable experience, including five or more years of supervisory or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of invoice processing, three-way matching, vendor master data, supplier payments, 1099/W-9 requirements, and month-end close support.
• Experience with SAP, VIM, or a similar ERP/AP automation system is preferred.
• Understanding of internal controls, payment controls, fraud prevention, audit documentation, and AP performance metrics.
• Strong leadership, communication, relationship-building, conflict-management, and escalation-resolution skills.
