Site Reliability Engineer II (Security)

Location: Seattle, WA; onsite work is required under hirify.global policies, with a hybrid environment and periodic in-office collaboration.

Annual base salary: $114,400–$171,600.

What you will do

• Design and implement secure, scalable enterprise solutions and distributed systems for the Information Security organization.
• Apply machine data analytics, log analysis, intrusion detection, and security analytics across the enterprise.
• Use DevOps tooling, API scripting, and automation to address operational and security challenges.
• Partner with senior technical leaders and cross-functional teams on architecture, technical proposals, implementation timelines, and digital transformation.
• Support service availability, quality initiatives, code reviews, technical design discussions, and data-driven decision-making.
• Troubleshoot complex security and reliability issues and participate in an on-call rotation for critical security incidents.

Requirements

• Successfully completed a Summer 2026 internship with hirify.global.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field, or additional relevant experience.
• Must be able to work onsite in Seattle in accordance with hirify.global policies; fully remote work is not available.
• Must be able to start no later than September 30, 2027.
• Experience with scripting and development using Python, PowerShell, or similar languages, plus understanding of DevOps practices and tooling.
• Knowledge of software development, systems engineering, distributed systems, scalability, security protocols, and security best practices.

Nice to have

• Exposure to containerization and orchestration platforms.
• Experience with Terraform or Chef automation tooling.
• Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, and prompt-based AI tooling.
