Staff DevSecOps Engineer (TS/SCI) (AI)

Annual base salary: $161,000–$221,000 USD

What you will do

• Build vulnerability scanning, reporting, security posture analytics, and automated remediation capabilities.
• Design issue-tracking and ownership workflows that route unowned findings and accelerate remediation.
• Develop security automation and cloud infrastructure using Python, Bash, Go, Terraform, and related tools.
• Integrate APIs, AWS, GCP, Azure, security platforms, and data pipelines for vulnerability detection and response.
• Partner with SRE and engineering teams on update pipelines, compliance baselines, monitoring, alerting, and patch validation.
• Evaluate and implement security systems, feature enhancements, and AI-enabled security posture workflows.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Security Engineering, DevSecOps, Infrastructure Security, or SaaS applications in a large corporate environment.
• 10+ years of coding and scripting experience focused on security automation and custom tooling.
• Experience with ETL/ELT and scalable, fault-tolerant vulnerability data pipelines.
• Experience with Terraform, infrastructure as code, cloud-first security controls, CI/CD, and drift management.
• Active U.S. TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Poly is required.
• U.S. person status and work on U.S. soil are required; working on a U.S. visa does not qualify.

Nice to have

• Experience in highly regulated environments and Federal or DoD compliance frameworks, including FedRAMP and IL6.
• Experience automating vulnerability and misconfiguration scanners such as Qualys, TenableSC, Prisma Cloud, Wiz, Orca, or Lacework.
• Familiarity with CVE, CVSS, EPSS, OWASP, and the CISA KEV catalog.
