Commercial HVAC Install Technician (HVAC)

Location: Maitland, Florida; field-based work at customer locations. Regular travel, occasional overnight stays, and flexibility for overtime and weekends are required.

Hourly base pay: $16.64–$49.92

What you will do

• Install, commission, diagnose, repair, replace, modify, and start up commercial HVAC systems.
• Interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications while mounting, fitting, and installing equipment and systems.
• Plan installations, examine building layouts, gather materials, anticipate difficulties, and coordinate work with customers and other trades.
• Provide technical support, customer-site training, follow-up service, and direct customer communication.
• Maintain inventory, vehicles, tools, equipment, work records, cost data, and required project paperwork.
• Enforce safety standards and support customer satisfaction during field assignments and travel.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and typically 2–5 years of commercial HVAC installation experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld devices such as smartphones or iPads.
• Valid driver's license held for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations during the previous three years.
• Ability to legally operate a company vehicle and work overtime or weekends when required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including climbing ladders, accessing rooftops at heights of 15–20 feet and occasionally above 50 feet, standing on concrete, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 40 pounds frequently.
• Ability to use required safety equipment, work around electrical and mechanical hazards, and perform duties in variable weather and noisy environments.
