Commercial HVAC Install Foreman (HVAC)

Location: Maitland, Florida; field-based work at customer locations with regular travel and occasional overnight stays

Hourly base pay: $19.97–$59.91

What you will do

• Lead commercial HVAC installation teams through commissioning, start-up, diagnosis, repair, replacement, and modification of HVAC and building control systems.
• Plan assigned projects, prepare job sites, interpret construction drawings and specifications, coordinate materials and other trades, and support on-time, on-budget completion.
• Supervise installation technicians, subcontractors, and vendors while ensuring quality, customer satisfaction, and compliance with contracting processes.
• Communicate with customers, building owners, subcontractors, field support staff, and project managers; provide technical support and on-site training.
• Manage inventory, tools, vehicles, documentation, labor and material records, estimates, change orders, and project reports.
• Operate rental equipment and enforce safety, security, and asset accountability standards during field work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and typically 2–5 years of commercial HVAC installation experience.
• Knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, air distribution, controls, mechanical layouts, and direct digital control systems.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld devices such as smartphones or iPads.
• Valid driver's license held for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends, travel regularly, stay overnight occasionally, and work at customer locations.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work involving ladders, rooftops, heights, confined access areas, lifting, kneeling, climbing, variable weather, moving equipment, and electrical hazards.

Nice to have

• Technical school education or formal HVAC training.
