Associate Azure Architect (Azure)

Location: Remote from Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Honduras, Panama, El Salvador, Peru, or Uruguay

What you will do

• Evaluate, optimize, and guide the evolution of Azure environments for managed services customers.
• Lead Azure Well-Architected Reviews and identify architectural risks and modernization opportunities.
• Develop recommendations for cost optimization, reliability, security, operational excellence, and performance.
• Translate customer requirements into scoped Azure solutions with assumptions, risks, dependencies, and effort estimates.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Customer Success, senior architects, and customer stakeholders.
• Contribute to reusable architecture standards, assessment templates, governance practices, and AI-enabled workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud engineering, consulting, managed services, or related technical roles.
• 3+ years of hands-on Azure experience.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, Azure Storage, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Backup, Azure Monitor, Azure Policy, and Azure Cost Management.
• Experience with the Azure Well-Architected Framework, architecture or design reviews, technical governance, or customer-facing architecture engagements.
• Ability to develop practical solutions, evaluate architectural tradeoffs, define scope, and provide implementation approaches and estimates.
• Strong written communication, presentation, documentation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104), Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305), FinOps Certified Practitioner, or equivalent certification.
• Managed services, architecture review board, or technical governance experience.
• Experience with PowerShell, Azure CLI, Bicep, Terraform, or similar automation technologies.
• Exposure to Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, or other AI-driven automation platforms.
• Experience developing reusable assessment templates, technical standards, decision criteria, and documentation.
