What you will do

• Own and evolve hybrid cloud architecture across AWS, Azure, and Azure Local, including landing zones, account and subscription topologies, network segmentation, and identity federation.
• Design advanced hybrid networking using virtual WANs, ExpressRoute, Transit Gateways, network virtual appliances, and secure cross-cloud connectivity.
• Author and govern enterprise Terraform module libraries with reusable patterns, versioning strategies, and secure defaults.
• Design CI/CD pipeline architectures for multi-environment and multi-subscription infrastructure delivery using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Build policy-as-code, drift detection, self-healing infrastructure, and production Kubernetes platforms with service meshes, RBAC, and micro-segmentation.
• Set technical direction, resolve escalated infrastructure challenges, mentor cloud engineers, and partner with security, networking, architecture, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure, systems engineering, or enterprise cloud architecture.
• 5+ years of hands-on Terraform experience at enterprise scale and 4+ years designing infrastructure CI/CD pipelines.
• 3+ years in technical leadership or architecture roles involving team guidance and enterprise standards.
• Production experience architecting across both AWS and Azure, with strong knowledge of networking, security, compute, automation, zero-trust architecture, identity federation, and secrets management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to write technical RFCs and executive recommendations.

Nice to have

• AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, HashiCorp Terraform Associate, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification.
• Experience with BGP, SD-WAN, Palo Alto network virtual appliances, platform engineering, internal developer portals, and self-service golden paths.
