Electrical Hardware Engineer I Graduate

Location: Hybrid, with an average requirement of 2 days per week in an HPE office in Texas, United States

Salary: USD 62,900–145,300 annual base salary in Texas, United States; variable incentives may also be offered.

What you will do

• Design portions of electrical and electronic components, subsystems, integrated circuitry, and algorithms according to engineering specifications.
• Implement test plans covering tolerances, form, fit, function, shock and vibration, electromagnetic interference, safety, reliability, thermal generation, and system power.
• Contribute to feasibility studies, design validation, reliability evaluation, and prototype-related engineering activities.
• Collaborate with electrical hardware engineers and internal and outsourced development partners.
• Support the development of reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality hardware products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Typically 0–2 years of experience.
• Experience with or understanding of electrical design tools and software packages.
• Understanding of electronic components, integrated circuitry, algorithms, thermal and electromagnetic properties, and emissions management.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Mastery of English and the local language is required.
