Senior Program Manager (Government)

Location: Columbia, Maryland, United States; office presence required at least 5 days per week. The position is only available at the posted location and no relocation is offered.

Salary: $118,700–$223,100 per year.

What you will do

• Coordinate with Service Managers, Service Owners, technology leadership, and clients to understand needs and develop strategic technical roadmaps.
• Improve the performance, reliability, monitoring, security, and resilience of existing services and new solutions.
• Develop technical insertion proposals introducing emerging technologies into the client environment.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, product organizations, and technology partners to support the client mission.
• Provide engineering oversight for service solution designs, including monitoring, deployment, troubleshooting, and effectiveness measurement.
• Communicate issues and solutions, guide junior program managers, and assemble cross-disciplinary teams to resolve urgent program and contract challenges.

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• 15–20 years of experience managing programs or projects and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Experience managing multi-task contracts and subcontracts and leading multi-vendor environments.
• Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, DoD 5000 series, and ICD 801 policies.
• Experience with requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial monitoring, and reporting.
• At least five years of experience managing funds and resources using complex reporting mechanisms such as Earned Value Management; PMP, FAC-P/PM Senior Level, or DAWIA Level 3 certification is desired.
