Senior Commercial Real Estate Data Analyst (AI)

Location: New York, NY; hybrid work arrangement

Salary: $130,000–$160,000 per year

What you will do

• Deliver data-driven analysis of real estate, financial, and market information for valuation, underwriting, portfolio monitoring, risk management, due diligence, and business decisions.
• Design, test, document, and maintain AI-enabled and automated workflows for financial statement analysis, document review, market research, due diligence, and recurring portfolio processes.
• Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards and recurring reports covering portfolio composition, property performance, debt service coverage, maturities, exposure, valuation, and risk indicators.
• Identify manual or duplicative processes that can be standardized or automated while preserving control quality, auditability, and professional judgment.
• Mentor Real Estate Analysts on CRE analysis, data quality, reporting, visualization, and approved analytical tools.
• Communicate analytical findings, assumptions, limitations, and source data to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Six or more years of experience in a similar position.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of AI technologies, including prompt engineering, agent-based automation, machine learning, data science, and analytics.
• Experience with SQL, Python, Power Query, or similar tools for data extraction, transformation, analysis, or workflow automation.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Word.
• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
